Our Music and Dance Explorations program is a rich and highly interactive people-to-people exploration that focuses on the arts and Cuba’s music- and dance-centric culture. It will provide you with many opportunities to connect with Cubans who share your passion for music and dance and to interact with Cubans in their everyday lives—at home, work, school and play.

As a participant of our program you will enjoy many opportunities not generally available to the casual traveler. You will be meet dancers and teachers who specialize in popular Cuban dances like Salsa, Son and Rueda de Casino, and interact with renowned Cuban dance professionals such as Yanek Revilla from Santiago de Cuba, members of the internationally acclaimed dance company Ban Rarrá, and teachers from the National School of Dance. You will get a first hand look at the music and culture of Cuba, with one-on-one discussions on a variety of topics. Master musicians, like José Eladio Amat, Enrique Plá and “Pupy” Pedroso, as well as professors from the National School of Music, will join the group for personalized interactions and lively exchanges.

*The Hotel Kohly is a comfortable and clean three-star hotel centrally located in Havana near the neighborhood of Vedado. The hotel has a swimming pool, small gym, bars, shops and restaurants. All rooms have a balcony, air-conditioning, telephone, safe, mini-bar and TV with cable channels.
